New creche adventure
Well, I am certainly growing up quickly, I was 2 - yes 2 years old! on the 8th January. Mummy and Daddy have enroled me in a creche so that I can meet more children. The teachers are very nice and les autres enfants also seem to be friendly. One little boy is 6 months older than me (I can't remember his name and it seems that he can't either as he looks at me blankly when I ask him in Franglais! - then he cries a bit). This little boy stares around a lot and doesn't do much else: shame for him; good for me as I get all the best cars and trains to play with!ha! ha! ha! I got to paint and draw too- it's great there.
The other children are very good at French (but, only French) and are older than me, two are six years old (I expect that they no longer wear nappies and also probably shave like daddy does). They are a little too wild for me so I watch them from a safe distance.
Yesterday, we went to Murten and fed the birds - mostly the seagulls who were much quicker than the dozey swans. We met Daddy's friend Franziska, who works with him sometimes, had lunch and then went to the Tierpark in Bern, which is a bit like a small zoo. It was very interesting to see all the different animals: pigs; horses; alpacca; sheep; goats; ducks (not strictly animals) and donkies. Also some chickens, but they were foul (fowl) ha!ha!ha!ha! The weather was about -100 degrees and after being out of my warm pushchair for 2 minutes, mummy asked if I wanted to play on the swings and slides for longer - NOT LIKELY! - so I returned to relative comfort and swaddling.
See you soon. Oh sorry I nearly forgot! Thankyou to everyone for such nice Birthday presents - keep 'em coming!!ha!ha!ha!
