Monday 20th March, 2006

Mummy and daddy and Alison, our au pair on loan, took me to the zoo in Servion yesterday. I saw monkeys, a funny bird that came over to talk to me, and some big cuddly teddy bears. But what I liked best was the playpark with all the swings and roundabouts and I was a bit cross when mummy dragged me away.

They all talked a lot in the car so I had to shout to get some attention. It's like that sometimes. They talk and forget about me but I have a right to be heard too.

I can now climb out of my cot and mummy and daddy are worried I will hurt myself climbing, so they are going to put a bunk bed in my room and I am going to have a bed like a big boy. Mummy bought me some special curtains with a window so I can hide if I want to. This is very satisfactory. The new mattress should arrive this week.

Mummy and daddy have to find a new au pair as Alison has to go back to the place in France where she normally works. I really hope someone nice agrees to come and take care of me. That's it for now. Bye.
