Sunday August 19th 2007

This morning mummy and I went to the thermal baths in Yverdon and I told mummy lots of stories on the way about heads exlpoding and monsters crashing into eachother and being eaten by alligators.

At the baths I had great fun jumping in off the edge, even though I wasn't strictly allowed to. The pool inspector lifeguard bloke was standing nearby and didn't say anything so I carried on. Afterwards, while mummy was drying her hair I used another hair dryer to blow around the contents of the bin.

In the afternoon Ciara took me to the Lora Park, where I drive go carts and jump on trampolines and slide down giant inflated things. I call this place "The Bouncy Castle". There is a lady there who likes me a lot. Her name is Jamie and she has multiple piercings.

Meanwhile mummy went sailing. Well she tried to sail but she and Kay got marooned near a stone pier and had to be towed back to harbour by a passing motor boat. I wasn't very impressed. Mummy was equally unimpressive on holiday in Italy, with the big inflated dinghy. She rowed us one way but couldn't row us back the other so had to drag the boat along the shoreline back to where we had our towels. Ciara's rowing was even more rubbish. I was glad I had a life jacket on.

We went on holiday in Italy from the end of July until 11th August. Nanny came with us and we had a lovely time. We stayed at holiday apartments in Luino near the Laggo Maggiore. I played at the paddling pool with a Swiss girl aged 4, but the other people were German and their children older. There was a sand pit, table tennis, table football and a sand strip for petang so lots to do outside. Every day we took food for the rabbits in the neighbour's garden. Mummy's favorite was Nero, who had shaggy grey hair and long whiskers.

Mummy and daddy made frineds with a doctor called Bernhard, who was staying in the downstairs flat. In lugano they met Bruno and Andrea on the noddy train and went back to their apartment for dinner a few days later.

We went to Switzerland in Miniature which had tiny models of cable cars and trains whizzing all over the place. We also visited Locarno, a chocolate factory, a nice garden in Morcote, and a zoo where a gibbon held people's hands. We went to a few places where we got cable cars up mountains and daddy set up a race course for me on our terrace so I could be a racing driver on my mini 3-wheeler.

Nanny bought me a new scooter in the market and I do tricks on it, and a new buggy because they got fed up of carrying me when I get tired! The lady in the shop said I was already too big for the buggy but mummy bought it anyway. I am very big now and when I jump on people I hear their bones snap.

The gardery opens again tomorrow following a month long summer break. Looking forward to seeing my friends again. Not looking forward to prolonged periods on the naughty chair. Gymnastics also starts again - Mondays and Wednesdays.

Mummy did gardening this weekend and I did an open air pee, which must have been ok as Dominique smiled at me. She played with me and chased me in her house while Gaby spoke to mummy about gardening problems.

Daddy is away in Kenya til the end of August and I miss him a lot but mummy tries to tickle me a bit more to make up for him being away. I wish he would come home NOW.
